Miracle-Gro Expand 'n Gro Concentrated Planting Mix for Container and In-Ground Use

Miracle-Gro® Expand 'n Gro® Concentrated Planting Mix is a versatile gardening product that can be used to grow your garden with ease. This planting soil substitute expands up to 3X when combined with equal parts water, and contains fertilizer to feed plants for up to 6 months.

When using this product with potted plants, the all-natural fibers in the potting medium hold up to 50% more water than traditional potting mix, releasing it as plants need it. This helps to keep your container plants hydrated and thriving.

For in-ground gardens, applying this soil amendment can make your soil up to 40% lighter and create up to 90% more air space for plant roots to thrive. This increased aeration and improved soil structure can benefit a wide range of plant types, from vegetables to ornamentals.

One .33 cu. ft. bag of Miracle-Gro® Expand 'n Gro® Concentrated Planting Mix can fill two 12-inch containers or cover 4 sq. ft. of in-ground garden area. To use in containers, simply fill a pot with a drain hole about 1/3 full of the mix, gradually add water, and stir until the mix has fully expanded. Then, plant as usual.

For in-ground gardens, spread a 1-inch layer of the planting mix over the area to be planted, and mix it into the top 4-6 inches of soil before planting. Water the plants thoroughly to finish.
